Every hour in school should count
The timetable shapes teachers' working days, students' school days and how the school's premises are used. Vklass schema plans the entire school year directly in the same platform where the school's everyday work already happens. The tool can also run standalone, with open standards.
The computer calculates and you decide
A school year is thousands of decisions that must work for teachers, students and school leaders. See how Vklass schema does the mathematical heavy lifting, explains the result and keeps the planner in control.
From conviction to tool
A timetable shapes teachers' working days and students' school days. That is the starting point for how we build Vklass schema.
School time is a school's most valuable resource
We believe every teaching hour should count. When the timetable is right, teachers get coherent working days, students get a reasonable school day without unnecessary gaps, and the principal gets control over whether the teaching-time plan is actually fulfilled. That is why we build timetabling that protects the school's time.
The whole school year, in the school's own platform
We put the timetable where the school already works: in Vklass, with the same base data and login. The engine tests every placement against the entire school year and the school's own rules: the teaching-time plan, teacher qualifications, holidays and staff training days. The answer arrives in under a millisecond, while you work.
Vklass schema
A complete timetabling tool for the K-12 market, from preschool class to adult education. It includes AI-based automatic generation, a cluster view across all weeks, work distribution, error checking against the teaching-time plan and teacher qualifications, a substitute plan, break duties and room booking. The timetable is published all the way to teachers, students and guardians.
Other tools plan a typical week and let you handle the exceptions. Vklass schema plans the entire school year from the start, with holidays, theme days and A/B weeks as part of the timetable.
Built for the K-12 market
Conflicts show up instantly
The computation engine validates every placement against all teachers, rooms and individual students in under a millisecond. You see a conflict the moment you make it.
The whole school year in one view
The cluster view shows all 40 weeks at once. Place a lesson once and let it follow its weekly pattern: every week, every other week or custom periods. Holidays and staff training days are excluded automatically.
Teaching-time plan and qualifications built in
Guaranteed teaching time is tracked against the teaching-time plan, and teachers' qualifications and subject knowledge can be specified so the tool warns when a teacher lacks the required qualification. The rules are part of the engine and are tested with every placement.
Open towards your systems
Vklass schema is fully integrated with Vklass and also works standalone. An open, OpenAPI 3-specified API lets your student information systems and other school systems read and write base data and lessons. Read more about integrations.
Generate the whole timetable or just the rest
Generate a complete timetable in seconds, or lock what works and let the engine solve the rest. If the engine cannot make it fit, it explains why and suggests which constraints could be relaxed.
Support throughout the school year
The substitute plan gives suggestions matched on qualifications, break duties are distributed fairly and the municipality can book rooms without access to personal data.
Vklass schema works from a single source: the same timetable in the timetabling tool, in the platform and in every exchange. No sync is needed, and there are never three different versions to troubleshoot between systems.
You stay in control and the automation does the heavy lifting
The timetable is the school's hardest puzzle, and you are the one who builds it. Vklass schema does the heavy lifting and leaves you in control: lock what should stay fixed, regenerate the rest and fine-tune it yourself.
Every move is validated instantly against teachers, rooms and every individual student. If the answer turns red, the engine explains why and suggests what could be relaxed. For the first time, several of you can also work in the same timetable simultaneously, with version history showing who changed what. With the automation, your expertise becomes more important.
See how the tool worksMore time for the school's actual mission
We exist to give teaching and the students' school day more time. That time is freed up when timetabling takes days instead of weeks and error checking happens while you work.

Scheduling, attendance and analytics are often procured together
Vklass schema is part of a family of services that share base data, login and hosting. Use them together or on their own.
Vklass schema
Timetabling for the entire school year with AI-based generation, error checking and publishing all the way to teachers, students and guardians.
Vklass Attendance
Attendance and absence directly against the timetable's lessons: teachers record attendance in class, guardians report absence in the app, and the school follows up patterns before they become problems.
Vklass analys
Statistics and analytics for schools and school authorities. With Vklass schema you get the parts covering schedules, lessons, teaching-time plans and attendance. The tool also supports other data such as grades, national tests and assessments, via import or through Vklass, the learning platform.
Vklass and the Vklass app
The learning platform that has brought the school day together since 2007, with an app for teachers, students and guardians. The timetable reaches everyone directly in the app. Read more at vklass.com.
