The timetable is the school's heartbeat
Everything in school runs through the timetable: the teacher's working day, the student's school day, how rooms are used and the school authority's responsibility for guaranteed teaching time. Yet timetabling is often treated as a separate tool on the side of the school's everyday life. We believe timetabling belongs on the same platform as the rest of the school's work.
We believe every hour in school should count
A gap hour for a class is 30 lost hours. A teacher with a fragmented day loses energy and planning time, and a room standing empty costs money that could have gone to teaching. The timetable is the single biggest lever for using the school's time well, and the school's time is a school's most valuable resource.
That is why we build Vklass schema for everyone who lives with the timetable, and that is more people than the timetabler. Students get a more reasonable school day, teachers get coherent time and school leadership can show that the teaching-time plan is actually fulfilled.
Three principles that guide everything we build
The timetable belongs where the school is
Vklass schema is built into Vklass and reads the same base data as the rest of the platform: schools, classes, groups, teachers, students and rooms. There is no file export, no integration that breaks at the start of term and no extra account to keep track of.
The timetable is planned for the whole school year
Schools do not live in a typical week: holidays, staff training days, theme days, exams, workplace-based learning periods and A/B weeks are part of everyday life. Our engine plans against the entire term calendar from the start, so the timetable is just as correct in November as in August.
The regulations are part of the engine
The engine checks what national school regulations require, automatically and in real time. That includes guaranteed teaching time against the teaching-time plan, teachers' qualifications and subject knowledge, and lunch and day windows adjusted to each year group.
For school leadership
You get it in black and white that the teaching-time plan is fulfilled, that teaching is delivered by qualified teachers and that the premises are used efficiently. The error check groups deviations by severity and links directly to the lesson in question, so you can base decisions on facts.
For timetablers
You work in a view where the entire school year is visible at once, with instant feedback on every placement. The automation does the heavy lifting, and when something does not fit, the engine explains why. You can undo and redo, lock what is finished and regenerate the rest with minimal disruption.
For teachers and students
The timetable gets fewer gaps, more reasonable days and fairly distributed break duties. In case of absence, the substitute plan suggests qualified colleagues with free time, so the school day keeps working.
For administration and IT
You have one supplier and a clear chain of responsibility from timetabling to publishing. Data is exchanged with your other systems through an open API, and hosting is on servers in Sweden. Version management and a change log are there when something needs to be followed up.
We give time back to schools, and the timetable is the tool.

We show
A demo focused on your type of school and your questions. It takes 45 minutes, online or on site.
You try
Test with a pilot school. If you use Vklass, the base data is already in place. Otherwise it is imported through the open API or a file export.
We roll out together
Configuration, training and support during the first timetabling period.
We help you all the way if you want us to
Vklass schema is built so that schools can manage timetabling themselves, and our trainers and timetablers stay with you for as long as you need.
Training in Vklass schema
We train your timetablers, school leaders and administrators, online or on site. The training covers everything from the basics of the cluster view to work distribution and automatic generation and is adapted to your type of school and prior knowledge.
We build the timetable for you
If you are short on time or lack a timetabler of your own, we help you build the school's timetable based on your circumstances and wishes. We work out the work distribution, constraints and priorities together, and you own the result.
Support when it matters
We are close at hand before the start of term, during reorganizations and when the timetable has to be redone mid-year.
